So far, so good. I am only cutting 3/32" deep, so I don't anticipate any problem with the tip breaking. I am using this for string inlay. For that purpose, it works great.
It lasted until I hit it accidentally with another tool. It's good for that and was durable. I am buying more. This is a good, durable bit. I am routing plastic with it.
